Having a new home built or investing in home improvements doesn't have to be stressful. When you hire DH Building & Son's for the job, you can rest assured it won't be. We offer a straightforward process that's designed with your satisfaction in mind.

11 Easy Steps to Improving Your Home

1. Fill Out Our Form

The process starts when you fill out our online form. Please provide as many details as possible regarding what you're looking for in your project. If you have a set of plans send them over so we can look at them. If not, don’t worry! We can help you develop a full set of plans for any size project with our in house Plan Set Designer.

2. Phone Consultation

We'll call you by phone to discuss your ideas and expectations for your project, as well as set a time to come out and meet with you at the project location.

3. On-Site Consultation

When we arrive at the project location, we will discuss the project further together. We will also take any measurements needed and assess what needs done from start to finish so we can get you an accurate estimate.

4. Plan Set and Bidding Process Begins

Once we collect a down payment, we'll move on to developing floor plans. After showing you each option, you'll choose one that is the best match for your needs.

5. Sign the Contract

After we've reached an agreement on the final plan set, cost estimate, and timeline, we'll sign a contract that covers all aspects and details of the project.

6. Pre-Job Walkthrough

At this point, we'll make sure to confirm all the details of your vision prior to the work starting. If there is anything that needs to be changed, this is the time to let us know.

7. We Get to Work

We’ll prep the site to be ready to begin construction. Then all the materials needed for the job will be delivered to the site so we can get to work. We'll update you at every stage so that you always know what's going on with your project. You’re also welcome to come by and see the progress for yourself in person!

8. Ready to Use Cleaning

Once the project is complete, we'll bring in a professional team to do the final cleaning of everything and remove all leftover materials and debris. It will be as if we were never there.

9. Post-Job Walkthrough

Together, we'll do a post-job walkthrough to confirm that all your goals have been met. Your new space will be ready for you and your family to enjoy!

10. One-Year Warranty

Our work is covered by a one-year warranty. If anything happens during this time that is within our control, we’ll be standing by to fix it.

11. Follow-Up

We'll call you at a predetermined time to make sure you're satisfied with all aspects of your newly built space. If necessary, we can schedule an at-home visit to address any issues or concerns.
